The Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (AHSS) at the University of Limerick, Ireland, is offering a number of Scholarships, Fellowships, Bursaries and Fee Waivers to MA and PhD candidates.

The awards will take effect from September 2018.

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences is offering a number of One-Year PhD Fee Waivers for PhD Research in any AHSS Department or School. These fee waivers are to the value of EU level PhD Fees €4,321. Successful applicants will be expected to deliver a small number of tutorial hours in lieu of their award. (Ref: FWAHSS). Apply


 

School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics is offering a one-year PhD EU fee waiver to pursue research in TESOL/Linguistics.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake teaching duties to a maximum of 4 hours per week as agreed with their supervisor and relevant subject leader.  (Ref: FWMLAL).  Apply


 

Department of Politics and Public Administration is offering a one year PhD EU Fee waiver for current and new students who wish to pursue a PhD by research with the Department of Politics and Public Administration.  (Ref: FWPPA). Apply


 

School of Law is offering the Professor Henry Ellis PhD Scholarship which comprises of an EU fee waiver in return for up to five hours research support/tutoring per week for ten weeks of each semester.  (Ref. School of English, Irish and Communication is offering a one-year EU Fee waiver. This award is open to current and new PhD students in the School. (Ref: FWEIC) Apply


 

Department of Politics & Public Administration is offering AY2018/2019 Merit Scholarships (Masters). One full fee-waiver (EU fees) and two half fee-waivers are available for any of our full-time MA programmes. Completed application forms and supporting documentation must be emailed by 5pm, 15th June 2018 to Joanna.Carroll@ul.ie. Application forms are available to download here along with instructions.
