PhD/MA Scholarships 2018

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (AHSS) at the University of Limerick, Ireland, is offering a number of Scholarships, Fellowships, Bursaries and Fee Waivers to MA and PhD candidates.
The Faculty of AHSS is a vibrant, outward-looking faculty that combines intensive research activity with the strongest commitment to high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Faculty are involved in research across a range of disciplines including Cultural Studies, Creative Writing, English, Gaeilge, History, Journalism, Law, Linguistics, Modern Languages, New Media, Politics, Public Administration, Sociology, Teaching English as a Second Language and Technical Communication and Instructional Design.
The awards will take effect from September 2018.

Other possible financial supports

SUSI (Student University Support Ireland) is the national awarding authority for all higher education and further education grants.  Students who are undertaking a Masters or Doctoral degree may apply.  SUSI grant is available to graduate students who wish to progress their education to a higher level (increase their NFQ level), in an approved institution.  The funding will assist with college fees and maintenance.  If you are an Irish, EU, EEA or Swiss national OR have resided in any of these countries for 3 of the past 5 years, you may be eligible to apply.  Funding is available up to a maximum of 4 years and interested applicants should apply online from early April to early November.  For further information on eligibility and how to apply, please connect to
