Limerick Fling at UCH in support of Limerick Marine Search and Rescue

Award-winning artists join students and faculty of the Irish World Academy for a special concert of music, song and dance in support of Limerick Marine Search and Rescue.  One hundred performers from five continents will come together to celebrate all the creativity, talent and passion that the Irish World Academy has to offer in a unique concert.

The Academy’s faculty and students will be joined by acclaimed musician and songwriter John Spillane and the incredible aerialists from the Irish Aerial Creation Centre.

The Limerick Fling promises to be a fantastic flash of music, song and dance! Celebrating the sounds and gestures of our times, the concert will include Irish traditional music and dance, classical music, contemporary dance, gospel music, folk music, and choral music.  Academy students who have been taking an aerial dance elective at the Irish Aerial Creation Centre will also give their debut aerial hoop performance.

Presented by Irish World Academy, University of Limerick
