As part of our commitment to supporting gender equality across the disciplines and the Athena Swan initiative, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Limerick are delighted to announce a joint scholarship in the area of female participation and non-participation in STEM subjects in schools and at third level.
The duration of the scholarship is up to 4 years, and the successful candidate will undertake a structured PhD programme.
The recipient will receive €16,000 per annum plus EU fees (subject to successful academic progress). The PhD student will be jointly supervised by a team of at least two academics, with a minimum of one supervisor from each faculty.
