We are delighted to congratulate  our colleague Dr Marie-Thérèse Batardière (School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics) on being made a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques, in recognition of outstanding service to French-language education. This is a fantastic and very well deserved achievement.

The Ordre des Palmes académiques is a national order of France for distinguished academics and figures in the world of culture and education.

Marie-T will receive the decoration associated with this award from the French Ambassador, M. Stéphane Crouzat, at a ceremony in the coming months.

Félicitations à Marie-T!
