AHSS welcomes TY students to campus

This week the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences welcomed Transition Year students on to campus for Taster Sessions in our wide variety of undergraduate subjects.

620 students from 21 schools visited the University of Limerick on 28-28th November, for course talks and subject lectures. Students from Mayo, Waterford and Laois visited, as well as students from all Munster counties.

The TY Taster days gave the students the opportunity to meet lecturers, tour the UL campus and find out more about why they should study Arts at UL.

Feedback from both students and teachers over the two days was very positive. The event was organised by Mary Heuston in the Faculty Office.
