UL students shortlisted for National Student Media Awards

We’re delighted to see so many of our students shortlisted for National Student Media Awards (Smedias) this year. 
 
Congratulations in particular to our own Student Ambassador Jennifer Purcell, who has been nominated for two awards. Michelle Hogan, the editor of the Limerick Voice newspaper produced by our Journalism students last year, has been shortlisted for 3 awards, and the Limerick Voice has been nominated for Newspaper of the Year.

You can still vote for the University of Limerick student newspaper An Focal in the People’s Choice category. The newspaper is currently leading with over 36,000 votes.
 
The award ceremony will take place in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 6th April 2017. Good luck to all UL nominees!
