2016 Peadar Kirby FYP Prize awarded to two students

Niamh Dillon and Miriam Ryan have been jointly awarded the 2016 Peadar Kirby FYP Prize, for submitting the best two Final Year Projects to the Department of Politics and Public Administration in the previous academic year.

Miriam Ryan’s FYP, ‘One Size Does Not Fit All! The Relevance to Travellers of Labour Market Approaches in Addressing Social Exclusion,’ was commended by its examiners as an ‘excellent project’.

Niamh Dillon’s FYP, ‘Do Local Strategies to Integrate New Communities into Ireland Sufficiently Meet the Needs of Those Within the Asylum System: A Case Study,’ was commended by its examiners as ‘an excellent example of undergraduate work’.

The Department of Politics and Public Administration warmly congratulates Niamh and Miriam on their outstanding achievements. Both FYPs will be published on the Politics and Public Administration website.
