So the exams have come around once again. I wanted to take some time and talk about them. For many of us, exams are an intimidating prospect. The time limit is probably the main cause for that. We all have a different pace of writing and there is not much one can do about it. What can we do though to increase our performance in the exam? Speaking from personal experience, taking 5 or 10 minutes to plan your answer works absolute wonders. Firstly it will make your answer more coherent and logical, secondly you will be able to think of more relevant things to mention throughout your answer, I for one find it quite difficult to think and write at the same time, usually I have to stop and think before I can write anything. If you are especially nervous taking a moment to think might also calm you down a little. I hope this little tip helps you all, I am sure the lecturers will tell you this anyway, they told me time and time again. It is definitely worth following their advice.
